Bobby Schindler at the National Right to Life Convention
Topics: Bobby Schindler
We don't have his full speech but here's a few quotes
Bobby Schindler, sister of the late Terri Schiavo, attended on behalf of the foundation created to defend rights of disabled people in jeopardy of being put to death through withdrawal of hydration and nutrition. Schiavo, who suffered brain damage, was allowed to die in 2005 after the Schindler family unsuccessfully fought in court to prevent Schiavo's husband from denying sustenance to his wife.
"There are more laws to protect people on death row than people like my sister," Schindler said.
Schindler said he endorsed [GOP candidate Sam Brownback] because the senator interprets broadly society's obligation to protect life from natural beginning to natural end.
