Blogs4Life - Join Pro-Life Bloggers on January 22

Topics: Announcements

Pro-Life Blogs announced the second annual blogging conference featuring Ramesh Ponnuru, author of the Party of Death:

The second annual Blogs4Life Conference will be held in Washington DC the morning of January 22rd, shortly before the 34th Annual March for Life.

Last year we were delighted by the number of bloggers and organizations from around the world who participated in Blogs4Life. This year, the conference is growing and will be even more beneficial to individuals and organizations who want to advance their online activities and strategically use weblog technology to promote life and turn ideas into action.

The Family Research Council is hosting the event at their exceptional Washington DC accommodations, just a few blocks from the March for Life. Joe Carter, the FRC's Director of Web Communications and Evangelical Outpost publisher, is coordinating speakers and activities.

The conference will feature a keynote address by Ramesh Ponnuru, noted author of The Party of Death and senior editor at National Review. Ponnuru writes with amazing clarity about abortion-on-demand, euthanasia, embryo destruction, stem cell research, infanticide and the deadly fascination some have with "the quality of life" of people with disabilities. With a depth of historical knowledge, rational arguments and practical insight, Ponnuru is an influential figure, leading the way to a post-Roe future.

The conference and subsequent march are an exciting opportunity and one that will benefit your pro-life activities, provide encouragement and hope and enable you to meet, face-to-face, with other bloggers from around the world.

Please visit the Blogs4Life Website frequently for more information - we'll be announcing more speakers shortly. Click here to register.

World estimations of the number of terminations carried out each year is somewhere between 20 and 88 million.(likely 55 to 60)

Over 3,500 per day / Over 1.3 million per year in America alone.

50% of that 1.3 million claimed failed birth control was to blame.

A further 48% had failed to use any birth control at all.

And 2% had medical reasons.

That means a staggering 98% may have been avoided had an effective birth control been used.

People have to stop using abortion as birth control.

I'd like to see effective birth control made available to all who can't afford it.
