Schindlers Stand up for the Weak

The family of Terri Schiavo has lent its voice to the rising call for reform in the ways Massachusetts handles its end-of-life cases.
In a recent letter to Gov. W. Mitt Romney, family members cite the case of 12-year-old Haleigh Poutre, who much like Schiavo, looms large in the nation's right-to-life debate.
Schiavo, a brain-damaged Florida woman, died in March 2005, amid much uproar and controversy, after her feeding tube was removed.
