Here is the latest on Michael Todd from the KMBZ website. Posted by: sue at May 14, 2006 12:43 PM Sorry for the news from KMBZ but it was incorrect. Mike has not been moved to Children's Mercy Hospital. He remains at KU Medical Center. The temporary restraining order called for him to be transferred but they have not found an accepting MD at Childrens. The KU Medical Center will answer the order on Monday. They say that Mike is "brain dead". Posted by: sue at May 14, 2006 10:17 PM |

Thanks so much for reporting this sad story. I am sure that KU Medical Center does not want this out in the open. It was heart breaking to see Michael's mom standing outside of the hospital alone and trying to get someone to listen to her.
Thankfully, a judge saw her handwritten note and ordered the temporary restraining order. I saw no mention of this most important story in the Kansas City Star this morning. Please keep us updated. I fear that there is not a compassionate doctor at Children's Mercy Hospital who is willing to help Michael and his family.
