Pat Campbell - Remembering Terri on Talk Radio

Orlando's best morning radio host is Pat Campbell, who continues to be a leading voice for life. I had the privilege of joining him this morning on 540WFLA to reflect about Terri's death and what it means to our society. It is hard to believe that it was almost one year-ago that Terri died after being deprived food and water for close to two week. The date was March 31st, at approximately 9 am.

We spoke briefly about how Terri's situation polarized the nation and was a key event in the year 2005. The extreme contrast between the pro-life and pro-death pro-euthanasia view points has again taken center stage with the publication of competing books by the Schindlers, who fought for Terri's life, and Michael Schiavo, who ended it.

Pat has asked Michael Schiavo to appear on his program later this week - an invitation that is unlikely to be accepted. However, I hope Bobby Schindler takes Pat up on a similar request so that listeners in Orlando will have the opportunity to hear about the mission of the Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation and the message of their book, A Life that Matters.
