GOP bill to save life of Schiavo

One year ago .... Republican leaders in the Senate prepared to move legislation to give federal courts jurisdiction over the life of Terri Schiavo, a Florida woman on life support whose feeding tubes are to be removed Friday at her husband's insistence.

"The Florida legislature has until Friday at 1 p.m. to pass legislation that will save Terri Schiavo's life," said Dr. Gary Cass, Executive Director of the Center for Reclaiming America. "I am urging our entire grassroots community to call or e-mail lawmakers in Tallahassee today on her behalf."
