Lawmaker proposes bill in response to Schiavo death
North Carolina Rep. Doug Vinson steps up to the plate. He has filed a new bill in the state House called the "North Carolina Disabled Persons Protection Act" that would require doctors to give food and water to disabled patients in most cases. [News14]

I would certainly like to see laws similar to this passed in all the states. I hope it succeeds.
