DeLay seeks congressional review of Schiavo case

Topics: Legislative Action Items

U.S. House of Representatives Majority Leader Tom DeLay, who denounced judges involved in the court battle over Terri Schiavo, said on Wednesday he has requested a congressional review of the brain-damaged woman's "right-to-die" case.

The House Judiciary Committee could seek to impeach those judges, but that seems highly unlikely as even many of DeLay's fellow Republicans have voiced opposition to that option.

I think we should all do whatever we can to encourage Tom Delay in his efforts and show as much public support for him as we can, as well as for all the others who join him in his quest for justice, and to also put that bug in the news media's ear, and let them know that we won't allow them to bury the horrific injustice done to Terri.

Have you read Proverbs 24:10-12? All fence sitters should be made aware of it.

It is great to see that Congress has someone with backbone. Maybe it will rub off on the jellyfish over in the Senate.

Proverbs 24: 10-12 certainly hits the nail right on the head. It seems taylor-made for this situation, Mary.

Sadly, Tom, I think the jellyfish have more of a tendency to rub off on others than the reverse.

Does anyone know how to go about doing a mass emailing/mailing/calling effort to support DeLay? I think it needs to be done really soon to combat the poison coming out over the airwaves right now.
