Web of Lies and other matters (Updated)

Topics: General

Title of Liberty has prepared a chart showing the hub of connections in the Terri Schaivo Case - focusing on George Felos, Judge Greer and the Woodside Hospice that is operated by "Florida Suncoast Hospice."

Update: Myopic Zeal has a compilation of the cast of characters related to the Schiavo case.

BlogsforTerri is preparing to organize several different new categories to serve as a collective of posts that BlogsForTerri bloggers have written to help unweave the tangled webs of deceit and collusion involved in what looks to be ultimately, the death of Terri Schiavo by forced starvation and dehydration by judicial fiat.

Our intention is to provide the world a central location for learning about the killing of Terri Schiavo and what the world needs to do to keep it from happening to more and more of the world's disabled and unwanted.

BlogsForTerri is also working on a special comment section where BlogsForTerri members can quickly register the URL of their posts, which will then be automatically pulled into the site. BlogsforTerri is also adding another 5 - 10 primary posting authors from the BlogsForTerri blogroll.

Please make sure Terri's family demands a consultant forensic pathologist at the autopsy.. perhaps Dr. Baden!

Posted by: Robert W. Smith MD at March 30, 2005 9:34 PM

Excellent suggestion, Robert. I hope your advice is heeded.

Here's a way to save Terri's life: have Jesse Jackson publicly demand a meeting with Michael Schiavo and Mrs. Schindler without attorneys present. Then attempt a heart-to-heart with Michael so that he relaxes his restrictions on visiting Terri and bringing her water.

Without that meeting, Michael is simply being manipulated by pro-death attorney George Felos.

Wow, that's one heck of a chart from The Title of Liberty. The first thing that came to my mind, other than wow, was what a tangled web we weave when trying to deceive.

Posted by: LifeisPrecious at March 30, 2005 10:28 PM

I'm still working on the Felos-Greer connection. Was Terri moved to the hospice in Pinnellas Park so when her case went to court it would be under Greer's jurisdiction? Did Felos wait to file with the probate court when he knew Greer would be free and the other few probate judges were tied up? In what county was Terri prior to going to Woodside hospice? Misc. related background information needed/requested....

Andy S,

I really think that we need to dispel the notion that good ol Michael is being manipulated by crazy horse George Felos. If you check the time line of events, you will find that Michael Schiavo is very much in control of wanting his wife dead. You do not need to be a rocket scientist to see the manipulation at work.

Interestingly, the lastest offer that he refused, $5m from Paul Beck, indicates that Michael must be feeling a little bit trapped with his decisions. Paul used to be a friend of Michael Schiavo until they had a falling out. Michael refused to talk to Paul when he was called. Crazy horse was not present.

Stay with it Andy, you are doing well, but you need to keep on top of those inconsistencies of Michael Schiavo and George Felos. In the end it will be the contradictions that are going to bring him down. He will then wish he had accepted those offers to let Terri go.

There's over 30,000 signers to date on a petition to impeach Greer. Please sign too if you're interested. Link is:

Posted by: Anna_Nordin at March 31, 2005 12:20 AM

Do not think for one second that Felos is not controlling this. He is an evil man with an evil past-he is controlling MIchaeol who wasn't to great to begin with and easily fell into the Felos trap. Pass that petition thing onto the other threads-that is good stuff.

Posted by: alwayschooselife at March 31, 2005 12:35 AM

Where is the petition to impeach Whitmore? If anyone is going to get impeached-if there is a chance of getting anyone here it would be whitmore. He broke the law by refusing to obey a congressional order

Posted by: alwayschooselife at March 31, 2005 12:40 AM

Felos' LANDMARK case also included the following:

Florida Case Law
IN RE GUARDIANSHIP OF BROWNING, 543 So.2d 258 (Fla.App. 2 Dist. 1989)No. 88-02887.April 10, 1989. Motion for Clarification Denied May 3, 1989.

The courts, however, remain open to act as decisionmaker in appropriate cases and to review the surrogate's decision in cases of doubt...

Second, the decisionmaking process should involve all the necessary participants. Ultimately, only one surrogate makes the decision. It is important, however, that the decisionmaker
receive advice from family members, physicians, friends, and other persons whose information can increase the probability that a correct decision is made...

IN ADDITION TO A LIVING WILL, the surrogate decisionmaker may consider oral statements made by the patient while competent. The patient's religious beliefs may influence the decision. The surrogate may also consider character evidence from close family members and friends which is relevant concerning the decision the patient would have made under these circumstances.
In making this difficult decision, a surrogate decisionmaker should err on the side of life. In this state, all natural persons not only possess a right of privacy, they also possess:

"the right to enjoy and defend life and liberty, to pursue happiness. . . ." Art. I, § 2, Fla. Const.

In cases of doubt, WE MUST ASSUME that a patient would choose to defend life in exercising his or her right of privacy.

Third, the circuit court should review the surrogate's decision to determine whether it was made in good faith.

The legislature was said to have passed a deadline today at 9:00 am to revive the Terri Shiavo case-any word if that is true or not?

Posted by: alwayschooselife at March 31, 2005 12:59 AM

Yes, I read that the pertinent Bill was NOT EVEN BROUGHT UP today in the legislature, as they continued with their "regular program".

One of the reps(?) pretty much stated that it was "too late" (as if Terri's death was already a foregone conclusion).

EVERYONE SHOULD **READ** THIS (if you haven't already):

(a snippet):
Responding to media requests after Florida's then Governor Martinez vetoed the bill permitting the removal of feeding tubes which was inspired by the Browning case, Felos wrote:

"{T]here I was on the holiday news—Mrs. Browning’s white knight, stalwart at his covered desk, intently crafting her plea of last hope to the Supreme Court. Did I love it! And given the strenuous effort, I much appreciated the positive reinforcement.”

It's a pity that a blog as venerable as this degraded itself to becoming just another bunk conspiracy site among a swamp of internet trash.

Posted by: GWL at March 31, 2005 1:47 AM

Ditto GWL.
For all those who think Greer broke laws or defyed congressional orders, why isn't congress in uproar about it. Because everything that has been done is in the public eye of scruitny and more importantly lawyers from all over the country. It would be easy for a lawyer to make a name for himself by ridding the public of a rebel judge but the fact of the matter is, lawyers know everything has been within the law. In addition, quit with the stupid conspiracy theories. I doubt everyone in that "WEB" is all coordinating to kill Terri. Unfortunately, the extremists on this issue have caused supporters of Terri to branch away from this site. In addition, the media exposure of Terri has oversaturated her which brings about the public apathy that you are currently seeing not some conspiracy.

Posted by: CriticalThinker at March 31, 2005 2:58 AM

Yep we are just all off our nuts! How could we have missed the truth! The fact that these "conspiracy therories" are largely verifiable seems to have escaped notice!

Posted by: imdll at March 31, 2005 3:55 AM

Critical Thinker and GW, if you're not supporting Terri's right to live, then why are you here at all?

This blog is entitled , "Blogs for Terri".

What part of "Blogs for Terri" do you misapprehend? There are lots of "kill Terri" blogs out there. Maybe you could go there and talk to your friends. That might make you feel better.

Posted by: Huntgoddess at March 31, 2005 5:53 AM

Is there some way of getting this chart to the media? Hannity show? anyone who would listen...

Posted by: sujata at March 31, 2005 8:08 AM

Supporting someone's right to live is a far cry from going down the long road towards paranoid delusion. If you want to be taken seriously, even just a bit, then you need to look at the facts, not suppositions, or interpretations, or thin tangential lines that you feel somehow constitute fact. If you wish to actually effect a change then you cannot go down the fringe road where groups like anti-holocausters, moon landing fraud, and the 9/11 conspiracy theories have gone, all the theories of which are 'verifiable' in one way or another.

I am curious about something though, would there be as much of an uproar if the Schindler's and Schiavo's agreed on Terri?

Posted by: AdamsE at March 31, 2005 8:12 AM

Does anyone know the latest on how Terri is doing? I didn't hear much on Wednesday.

I couldn't believe that chart from titleofliberty! The more people that are "involved", the more likeley hood of someone coming forward with information, seeking immunity if there is ever a criminal investigation. I am not saying that everyone on the chart is a part of Terri's death sentence, but it is obvious that there has been a lot of coverup and blatant injustice.

I hope that the medical examiner, Jon Thogmartin is not too involved in this. As the ME he can get access to sealed medical/court records as part of the autopsy.

I am grateful for the Empire Jrnl and WND for their reporting on the Terri Schindler story. Does anyone else know of other news reporting services that give the facts? Thanks.

I will not keep silent when someone is being murdered!

Your lack of knowledge of this case has you at a terrible disadvantage. You can not possible carry on an intelligent conversation about something you know so little about.

If you had taken a little time and read through the hours of posts, you would have discovered that your question has been answered several times. You are quite obviously not looking for any answers you just want to argue and that is not what the rest of us are here for.

Posted by: imdll at March 31, 2005 9:17 AM

Sorry, that was to AdamsE

Posted by: imdll at March 31, 2005 9:18 AM

Great work, Richard. Thanks for putting that up on the site. I think we must dig to the bottom of everything, if Terri passes. Right now, I am still praying for a miracle. I prayed for a long time last night, aware that Terri was here still, states away, but reachable through my prayers - through God, that is. I knew she was hurting, and just prayed for anything God might uncover or do. Did anyone else hear Mel Gibson on Hannity and Colmes on Fox last night? His take on things was also that there is a whole connection going on. A web. It was a good interview and I'm going to try to find a link to any transcript of it, if there is one up there today. Robert & Andy, liked both of your ideas. Also will try to get the chart to the attention of the Fox channel today, if possible.

Anna Nordin - I've signed the petition and asked others to. Anna, keep up your good search. Also think there would be merit to a similar petition for Whitmore. Sujata, petition is at:

Anna Nordin posted it a bit ago.

The priest was in a news conference a few minutes ago and he said that the family has been begging to be in with Terri but dear Michael is refusing them because it would be awkward. Awkward! What a jerk, to deny Terri all he has for so many years and now during her horrible death he denies her family by her side because of how he feels!

Did anyone see the Oprah with the psychiatrist discussing Scott Peterson and the behaviors of sociopaths? Michael is so stereotipical it is just amazing. There is not one thing that the doctor described that Michael doesn't portray ten fold. I would dearly love to know why this has not come into question after all of these years.

Posted by: imdll at March 31, 2005 9:25 AM

The priest said that they think that Terri is in her last hours. They indicated that they thought Terri may pass in the next couple of hours.

Posted by: imdll at March 31, 2005 9:30 AM

That is disgusting that MS won't let the Schindlers in to see Terri!

Pray that Michael's heart would soften and that they could get in to see her. He is such a control monster.

It would be sickening if she passes and they never got to see her again.

Posted by: sherry at March 31, 2005 9:38 AM

Well Michael is behaving pretty textbook at this point. This whole situation has been a prime example of his character and how he is capable of behaving. He wields his power with an iron fist. Everything is about him or how it relates to him. None of his actions since 1993 have had one iota to do with anyone but Michael! Selfish to the core would apparently be the situation.

Posted by: imdll at March 31, 2005 9:45 AM

They just showed the parents going into the hospice. They were in a hurry, but the reporter said that there wasn't any information as to whether the family had been given permission at this point or not. Apparently the lawyers have been on the phone with one another trying to work something out.

Posted by: imdll at March 31, 2005 9:51 AM

Terri has died. It was just announced. The family was denied access at the moment of her death. They are with her now praying at her bedside.

Posted by: imdll at March 31, 2005 9:53 AM

I can't believe Michael!! Awkward!?! I cannot say what I am thinking right now.

alwayschooselife - I just saw that Sentator Rick Santorum also thinks that Whittemore should be held accountable and action should be taken against him. See this link:

Posted by: juleni at March 31, 2005 9:55 AM

Are you at the hospice?

Posted by: sherry at March 31, 2005 9:56 AM

This man can not get away with all that he has done. The law has to make him accountable. I realize that he will be held accountable to a higher court but I am an impatient mortal and I want some justice for Terri now!

Someone has to be seeing this for what it has been. There has to be an investigation!

There has to be an autopsy done with more than one examiner involved to try to keep things honest.

Posted by: imdll at March 31, 2005 10:00 AM

Posted by: imdll at March 31, 2005 10:02 AM

Yahoo news just reported that Terri Shindler has died. This is a sad sad day.

I pray that the medical examiner can crack this thing open. Michael does not have control over Terri supporters and we will not be silenced.

Posted by: sherry at March 31, 2005 10:09 AM

God has called home his faithful and precious servant, leaving the rest of us behind to ponder His message in all of this and see that her life was not lost in vain.

"America... God shed His Grace on thee..."
and what have you done with it?

Please know, at this most difficult time, our prayers are with the Schindler family and all of the courageous folks who tried to end this travesty of justice. May the Lord give them peace and shower them with His Love and Everlasting Grace.

Posted by: Robert W. Smith MD at March 31, 2005 10:29 AM

We can not let this slip away into the darkness. There has to be an accountability. I hope so much for the truth to come out. I just would hate to see people who have been tireless in the fight be too weary to continue.

My heart is broken for the family. It kills me that Michael had to be the monster to the end! It didn't surprise me, I just had hoped that he had the slightest glimmer of caring.

Posted by: imdll at March 31, 2005 11:25 AM

Juleni-Thank you thank you-my computer has been down but I have been watching the news-Whitmore is one that must be dealt with in my opinion and that of Santorum he commited a crime-his post is for life as a federal judge unless he is impeached-this must be done.-this also goes back to another post where someone said that if it was such a big deal then the house would be upset at the judges-well the house is and good gracious they should be
