Please be sure to read the statement the Schindlers sent us following their loss.

In addition to a deep sense of grief, the injustice the led to Terri's death has generated within us a resolve to protect the weak and defenseless and fight for the dignity of human life. They just denied the appeal

Posted by: alwayschooselife at March 30, 2005 3:22 PM

ATLANTA (AP)--With time running out for Terri Schiavo, a federal appeals court Wednesday rejected her parents' latest attempt to get the brain-damaged woman's feeding tube reconnected.

Nearly 15 hours after agreeing to consider an emergency bid by Bob and Mary Schindler for a new hearing in their case, the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected their request.

To be granted, the request would have needed the support of seven of the court's 12 judges. The court didn't disclose the vote breakdown, but the order did say Judge William Pryor didn't vote because he is recovering from surgery.

Three times last week, the court also ruled against the Schindlers.

In requesting the new hearing and a court order for their daughter's feeding tube to be reconnected, the Schindlers argued that a federal judge in Tampa should have considered the entire state court record and not whether previous Florida court rulings met legal muster under state law. The Schindlers' motion also said the Atlanta-based federal appellate court didn't consider whether there was enough "clear and convincing" evidence that Terri Schiavo would have chosen to die in her current condition.

No matter what anyone thinks or says about the law and whatever else-this will have an impact beyond what any of us can foresee. This is what every pro-abortionist has been hoping for. Now they have their legal precident for everything from euthanasia to embrionic stem cell research. God Bless America. You all better hope and pray that you and your loved ones have the genetic appeal to be considered worthy of life in the future.

from CNN:

BREAKING NEWS A federal appeals court denies a request for a rehearing in the case of brain-damaged Terri Schiavo. Details soon.

Posted by: why? at March 30, 2005 3:31 PM

This yet again, just proves that the Florida courts do not care about the truth, and it seems they just want to wash their hands of it (Pilate).

What about the legislation? I thought they needed another vote for that bill that could possibly save Terri...

Posted by: Sirena at March 30, 2005 3:32 PM

Does anyone know how we can contact Rev. Jackson.

Is there any update on the court yet?

Posted by: Outraged at March 30, 2005 3:35 PM

Who are the judges who denied the Schindlers this appeal? Do we have their contact info?

Posted by: Sirena at March 30, 2005 3:38 PM

So,whats going on with DCF ?
Anything ?
Terri is Alive

I am heart broken. Not terribly surprised, but heart broken. I am so furious about how the media has portrayed those who support the Shindlers fight for Terri. They were reporting that this evidence of a care giver saying Michael admitted to her that he never had the conversation about Terri's wishes was new evidence.

For goodness sake! How can these people call themselves reporters. The amount of misinformation from the media is just rediculous! I am afraid that this murder is going to get swept under the rug while the President, Govenor, Courts and media turn a blind eye.

So, the question comes up again. Who is running the show?

The 11th circut judges fired back a response to the petition and they made all kinds of comments about congress and society's critisism of the judges in this country. They are ticked off!

Well no kidding society is critisizing the judges in this country! I just read yesterday about 3 judges, at least one of which was a Superior Court Judge, convicted of taking bribes. I found that by accident.

How dare these 11th circut judges take issue with things that have nothing to do with what they were to be deliberating about! So much for judges only being governed by law!

The problem with the legisilature is this: Today at 9:00 a.m. was the deadline to revive that bill. The deadline for new legislation has already passed. This is what I heard on the news-
I am not sure what Jesse can do if this is the case.

Keep praying; double your prayers! It seems that prayer for a miracle from God is all that Terri has now - it can happen; we need to have faith.

If a miracle is not God's will, we can at least pray her into eternity and pray that as God brought great good out of the worst event in human history (the betrayal, suffering and death of the Son of God), so we pray that Terri's betrayal, passion, and death can bring great good to the world as well. We can pray that eventually Michael Schiavo and his diabolical cohorts will be brought to justice as well.

It seems like a massive non-violent protest of hundreds of people which included the CDF(?) and medical personnel with proper equipment who all attempt to gain entry to the hospice at the same time is the only thing that can save Terri now, humanly speaking - or possibly there is a tiny chance of legislation coming from Florida.

However, I think the only realistic way of saving Terri for some time has been the suggestion of a massive protest which overwhelms the police force and takes them by surprise, and all the hopes we have pinned on judges (what a waste of time THAT was) and legislators have delayed things for too long.

This is surely the longest public execution in history! I am so heartbroken and disgusted with the so called "justice" system!!

Judicial Homicide is what it is and anyone who has turned their backs on Terri is an accessory to murder!

I cannot believe they are doing this! The world is watching this powerful country conduct this disgusting execution.

I pray for Terri and her family....

Is there anything we can do???

Posted by: Outraged at March 30, 2005 3:57 PM

I certainly do agree...the public should go to the Hospice en mass and push their way thru and save Terri! Power comes in numbers!!

If I could I would get that together...unfortunately I live in AZ :-(

Somthing has crossed my mind. Where are all of these people who have signed statements in support of Terri? Where are the Doctors who have questioned the diagnosis? Where is the medical examiner and the radiologist who said her bone scan needed to be looked into. Where are these investigators that were blocked in there investigation? Where is DCF screaming about not being allowed to perform their jobs on more than one occassion?

With all of the information sitting in the hands of the President and Govenor, what are they doing about it?

Who is in charge of all of this?

Michael Schiavo receives a call from Felos

"Mike, it is going to be okay we are one step closer to the goal"

"Thanks George"

They hang up

Geroge begins praying his prayer of thanks

"Prince of darkness, who runs rampant on this earth. May you be pleased with the work I am doing for you."

HOWEVER........ In Heaven
Vengence is mine sayeth the Lord

felos new age mystic, he truly is from the pit

Posted by: sujata at March 30, 2005 4:09 PM

All good questions, imdll.

There has to be more than meets the eye here. This is too crazy to believe, even for our severely messed up society.

Posted by: VicarDave at March 30, 2005 4:11 PM

VicarDave you are right. This is absolutely disgusting!

Posted by: Outraged at March 30, 2005 4:26 PM

"what a lot of good that was" Isaiah 30:2-5

Vicar Dave,

There is more than meets the eye, if the eye doesn't look.

Felos book alone should be enough evidence to do a retrial. From excerpts I've read on the internet from it and various comments about it the man is a freeking nutcase. They probably all belong to some weird cult down there. Judges and all. I think that all we have left now is prayer and some divine intervention and we have all prayed our socks off so far. It is so so sad. DAMN THEM ALL TO HELL.

Posted by: britnick at March 30, 2005 5:13 PM

The Carter Center has been quiet. Why? They support "human rights". Jimmy Carter is a Christian! Where is his voice? Why is he silent?

I've tried to email them, but not even the courtesy of a response. "A voice crying in the wilderness" ???

Please email them and have them weigh in as friend or foe.

I posted some things about scientology being really involved down there in that area of FL, and stil think that could be the very cult helping to stir all of this.

From what I have heard, they are dangerous, even have killed at times, for their thoughts. Fully a cult, in the sense of not believing in God from the Bible. Lots of weird ideas, too. And tons of money to fund legislators, judges, anyone they want to in that area. I don't have a lot of proof, but do know they are not of God, and are very rich, and don't believe in supporting the disabled, and are all over that area down there. I just wouldn't be surprised if it were true. Maybe not, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Could be a part of it. Anyway, there is definitely a link between all the parties down there, as shown on the amazing chart posted earlier today on blogsforterri.

I was going to just grieve today......

I am offering to make green ribbons for this cause. I feel it is the least I can do to get justice and awareness out.

Posted by: Julie at March 31, 2005 4:03 PM

We should get that green paid fabric and tie them on our car antennas in support of the Schindlers and in remembrance of Terri.

Posted by: Sirena at March 31, 2005 4:24 PM

I meant "plaid" not "paid".

I know Terri is safe in the arms of Jesus after 15 years of torture in the hands of the psycho husband.

I can't imagine the mental torture of having seen Terri being starved to death (and their hands tied) that her parents and Bobby and Suzanne have to live with for the rest of their life. My heart breaks for them and my prayers are with them. I ask God for the peace of God that passeth all understanding for the four of them.

Hey I have a question-Does anyone else think it is possible ( I know this sounds carzy) but does anyone think it is could possibly be that the people making the threats against the Schiavos are actually on the Schiavos side just trying to make us all look nuts? I just look at the people that are here-what they are writing and saying-compare that to the Schiavos-what they are saying and it is not sitting right with me.

I wanted to share a link to a memorial page for Terri that Cheryl Ford made. Its beautiful. Please be sure to light a candle for Terri while your there.

I heard that MS was planning on putting Terri in his family plot! Is that something they can go to court and fight? They probably shouldnt even bother with the courts though huh? Since the courts are not really there for justice and fairness.

Posted by: delphinius at April 1, 2005 1:18 PM

Any man who doesn't allow a woman's MOTHER, let alone the rest of her family in the same room when she is dying is sick. Michael Shiavo is a controlling, psychologically sick man. If the courts never did a psychological evaluation of this guy, then they are remiss. His finace isn't much better. What woman would let a fiance get away with this? Moreso, what fiance wouldn't lead a man away from this kind of sick behavior? She's afraid of him, and is just as intimidated as Terri was. The Domestic Violence in Terri's case followed her all the way through the courts, and beyond. He still has control, all the way to death. He's evil. It's only a matter of time before he loses his temper again, and this time it'll be Jodi.

Posted by: IMJ at April 2, 2005 1:22 AM

I'd love to see the FBI's profile of Michael Shiavo. And believe me, they have one.
