Starving Cows seems to be a crime...

It's World Hypocrisy Day!

March 22, 2005 06:59 A rancher in Florida has been arrested for starving a bunch of cows. But, hey, let's give this guy a break! After all, maybe he took his cue from what his own state is doing to Terri Schindler.

It's disgusting what the courts are doing. I'm a vegan, progressive, liberal and I feel that starving or harming any being -- Human, Cow, Pig, Chicken, Cat is a crime against our Creator. If you wouldn't want it done to you, don't do it against another. Is that not the golden rule?

Did you know that starvation of wards of the court like Terri go on all the time. Check out HospicePatienceAlliace.org and JusticeForFloridaSeniors.org

Some human's are the worst animals of them all.

I am so heartbroken that we can provide "homes" for the like of Charles Manson, Scott peterson, and all of the other murderers for years on end( and at our expense), meanwhile allow a murder like Greer and any doctor willing to starve a woman to death to walk freely among us. The supposed faithful hisband can easily release himself of all responsibility by divorcing her, he does not honor his wedding vows, nor his wife by committing adultery. I am going to have many a prayer for this lot. I wish to extend my prayers and support to the Schindlers, as I cannot imagine the torture of watching these demons murder my child.

This is 2005
There are Rehabilitation Centers all over the USA for brain injured adults just like Terri'
. These facilituites provide speech rehab, adaptive communication systems, Physical Therapy
Terri was in a Rehab in 1991, learning to walk again ...using parallel bars. Medical reports say she was making progress. They advised that Terri be transfered to Gainsville Rehab. Micheal instead ended the rehab, began warehousing Terri in Nursing homes. Just 3 months after the Mal practice award, Michael wrote NO medical treatment/No therapy on her charts.
While Michael cried and peaded in the Mal practice trial that he loved his wife and would obey his marriage vows to care for Terri all her life, he was intimatly involved with a woman and looking for a house to move into with her , (see affidavit of Cindy Shook girlfriend)

Terri was never again in a rehab facility where major and modern therapies are coordinated and patient recovery made. Terri is communicating (not to Michael and his family, though..She knows who her friends are, doesn't she !!. she knows something we should know !) Michael forbid her learning to talk again...no speech therapy and no feeding therapy.
Terri was never provided the opportunity to learn to speak, be spoon fed nor was she allowed to have normal experiences that would help to make a normal recovery.

Michael allowed just enough Medical intervention in the beginning so Terri did not die the night of her collapse. That allowed him to file Mal practice suits. Once won , he began working on dating and on Terris death. Then he severely denied her access to recovery

We have Rehabs in America.....This death is not necessary. So unnecessay.
I know . I have worked with patient worse than Terri walk out of rehabs ...having been PVS and all.
The Terri you see is the result of the Terri that Michael created.

This man has lied from the beginning, he is brazenly

He has no right to be Terri's guardian and to decide for her while continueing on with his new life with another woman, How is it possible for this man to have Terri's best interest at heart? It is a conflict of interest! He's started his new life with his new kids just let Terri go to her parents and move on with your common law family.

RE: NIGHTLINE "Life or Death Decisions" Panel Debate 03/22/05, (which I am currently watching)

I am amazed that no one seems to be able to "see the forest for the trees" with regard to the current situation of Terri Schiavo... Beyond the political/legal/medical/ethical/moral questions and issues at hand is ONE SIMPLE UNDENIABLE FACT:
Right or wrong the Florida Court (Judge Greer) determined Terri's "wishes" (that she would not want to 'live like this' with tubes 'keeping her alive' on 'artificial life support'), and the (feeding) tube was ordered to be removed.
BUT... Judge Greer went BEYOND the scope of the original Trial Determination and then further ORDERED that Terri not only have her feeding tube removed but be KILLED via dehydration & starvation by DENYING the Schindler's Motion to be allowed to provide Terri nutrition naturally and orally.
I am appalled by the lack of debate on this point in particular - this seems wholly unconstitutional and illegal.

Fllow-up on the Terri Schiavo "Life or Death Debate".

Do you realize that more than one person has been arrested for approaching the Hospice where Terri is being guarded because they were offering up a cup of water, or a "symbolic" piece of bread?

It in unbelievable that any court in this land would have the authority to block the providing of Food, Air or Water "naturally" to any American citizen (especially one who is neither terminal nor on death row). That is beyond assisted suicide, that is an incontrovertable State ordered Death Sentence... to be carried out (as Judge Greer stated) "forthwith".
