« Concerned Women for America Urges Action | Main | Legislative Update on HB 701 (Updated) » March 17, 2005Receptionist answering telephone of Fl. Senator Dennis L. Jones Tells Caller "It isn't going to happen!" (Urgent Update)Topics: Action Items(URGENT UPDATE BELOW) Bloggers, please see that the voice FOR Terri is HEARD! The secretary answering the telephone at the office of Senator Dennis L. Jones has told at least one caller that "they tried to pass something constitutional before and it was turned down" then on a separate call said, "It's just not going to happen." It appears that his office doesn't want Terri to live and has no intention of supporting any law to save her. This senator, and possibly his friend, Senator James E. King, need to know more about the support for Terri and how much you would appreciate their support of "a law that is constitutional, good public policy and that will protect the interests of Florida's disabled and elderly." Dennis Jones: email - jones.dennis.web@flsenate.gov James King: email - king.james.web@flsenate.gov I believe that both offices would love to have an email and a telephone call from you, maybe a few of each. URGENT UPDATE: Senator Jack Reed, Reed, Jack - (D - RI) Class II Please contact all three senators! Posted by richard at March 17, 2005 12:39 PM Articles Related to Action Items:

If you don't have a living will , You must not kill! Posted by: Linda at March 18, 2005 7:30 AM Don't you think it is time to let it go? Posted by: louis at March 22, 2005 11:39 AM |

I've already emailed all the senators mentioned in the earlier action item post. Even if these two men are unswayable, surely they alone can't bring the whole process to a stop. (Why even pretend we have a representative gov't if you don't listen to your constituents?)
