On the matter of Judicial terrorism

Topics: News

- WorldNetDaily, by David Bass
The court-ordered starvation death of Terri Schindler-Schiavo has begun.

Thumbing his nose at congressional subpoenas designed to launch an investigation into the case that has captured worldwide attention, Circuit Court Judge George Greer ordered on Friday that Terri's sustenance and hydration tube be removed, claiming there is "no cogent reason" why Congress should intervene. "I don't think legislative agencies or bodies have business in the court's proceedings," Greer told attorneys during a conference call, according to a Florida television station.

"Perhaps for the first time in American history," commented Alliance Defense Fund attorney Michael Johnson, "we have a court ordering essentially the murder of an innocent person." The injustice is staggering. Today, a guiltless woman is being executed by the most inhumane method imaginable, while those who have tirelessly worked to end her life walk free.

The acts of Judge Greer and his cohorts in the Florida court system can only be called one thing: Judicial terrorism.

Death by dehydration is anything but quick and peaceful; it can last as long as two weeks. Terri will suffer extreme thirst, drying out her mouth. She will experience nausea and cramping in her arms and legs. Her skin will become dry and wrinkled as fluids are drawn from the skin to hydrate the organs. The mucous membranes of her mouth and lips will crack. Her breathing will become labored and difficult. Her muscles will spasm, resulting in extreme agitation. She may suffer seizures. And finally, she will do what her estranged husband, Michael Schiavo, and the other fans of the Culture of Death want her to do – she will die.
Frighteningly, many Americans are not even aware that such an egregious miscarriage of justice is taking place on their own soil. Some don't even care. Living in a country that still recognizes many God-given freedoms, our senses have become dulled to what tyranny and wickedness really are. As long as evil is neatly tucked away in hospices or abortion clinics, we go on with our everyday lives. As long as the heinous injustice doesn't affect us, we refuse to think about it.
America considers herself a civilized nation. We eschew the barbaric practices of ancient Rome, the religious conflicts of the Medieval period, and the mass genocide that took place in wars throughout the 20th century. Yet now, a entirely innocent woman, one who committed no crime other than requiring more love and attention than most other Americans, is starving to death on our watch. Are we really any less barbaric than Rome, or have we simply learned new ways to veil our wickedness behind the curtain of science, choice and a so-called "right to die"?
It's a searching question.
The Bible has been discounted by the intelligentsia of our modern era as old-fashioned and outdated, yet its words still convict the human heart with Truth: "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20).
Sometimes, it takes a kick in the face for individuals to wake up and realize tyranny is on their doorstep. The ongoing starvation of Terri Schindler Schiavo should be a disturbing reminder of what an out-of-control judiciary can do when the executive and legislative branches of government are slow to deal with it. Having come this far, both branches must boldly step forward and use the fullest extent of their powers to counter-balance this tyrannical judiciary.
If we don't wake up, what may come next is the Final Solution at our very own door.

I just cannot even believe what I, little ol Seattle gal, have uncovered on the internet alone on this story in a few days. MY GOD! Why hasn't anyone been listening on a national level before this?
#1: Dr Cranford is a blatant copy of Dr Kavorkian and advocates assisted suicide for alzheimers patients.

#2: Michael Schiavo and his girlfriend are partners in an Insurance Co.

#3: George Felos is out promoting his new book. A book about so called assisted suicide.

#4: Judge Greer has family members working at the hospice center. And he is legally blind? that is really freaky.

And the mounds of other evidence on Michael. Like what a loser he was when married to Terri. There is jusy so much more the MSM is not telling us. For Terri's sake why?

and why now does MS deny the parents to see Terri?

Posted by: chardonnay at March 20, 2005 7:52 PM

also, the Larry King interview, Micheal Schiavo told King that Terri's father is in it for the money. yet he also told King that Terri and her parents were very very close. Contradicting.

another high point in that interview was Michael declaring he, yes he, is the victim of the Schindlers. "they just want to make my life miserable"

Was he drunk when he came home the night of Terri's accident? What was his occupation at that time? Restaurant work coming home at what 4am? what a loser.

CNN interview Larry King and Michael Schiavo, with George Felos. I didn't realize beelzabub could be one in two people.

Larry asks MS if the CNN cameras can video Terri and MS said NO! you have to read this.

Posted by: chardonnay at March 20, 2005 8:00 PM

Well, now, working the night shift at a restaurant doesn't make a person a loser -- but Michael Schiavo is definitely a loser, no matter what his occupation might be! I just hope the *loser* loses this case.

One hour to go before Congress convenes... I've made more phone calls. Keep phoning, keep faxing, keep praying!

Michael Schiavo’s attorney meets with Terri’s parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, soon after Terri’s collapse.

Within 24 – 48 hours after Terri was admitted to Northside Hospital, Michael Schiavo’s employer attorney, Mr. Daniel Grieco, arrived at the hospital. Mr. Grieco consulted with Terri’s parents outside the Intensive Care waiting room, recommending they sign documents that would allow Michael Schiavo to handle Terri's medical affairs on the pretense it would expedite Terri’s emergency treatment.

The attorney’s rationale was since Terri was barely clinging to life, vesting Michael Schiavo with this power would expedite Terri’s medical care. Mr. Grieco did not mention that Michael Schiavo would have exclusive power to dictate Terri’s medical treatment and the authority to control the release of any medical information concerning Terri.

Since there are no documents in Terri's legal case files regarding this meeting with Daniel Grieco, that agreement may have been designed as a short term control solution. Notably, the document allowed Michael Schiavo to conceal Terri's Northside Hospital admittance records, and the ability to filter all of the doctor's information.

As an example, a March 5, 1991, just 53 weeks after Terri’s collapse, a bone scan taken of Terri revealed a healed broken Right Femur Bone and healed bone fractures in Terri’s Ribs, Pelvis, Spine and Ankle. The radiologist, Dr. Walker (document No. 3), concluded that “Terri has a history of trauma” and presumed “that the other multiple areas of abnormal activity also relate to previous trauma.”

An orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Hamilton (document No. 10), initially saw Terri a few months after she collapsed. Michael Schiavo never disclosed this information to any of Terri’s family.

Michael Schiavo is much like a terrorist. I hope he has to spend some time in jail for misusing the settlement funds for terri's malpractice suit!

Posted by: Linda at March 20, 2005 8:09 PM

Sorry, wishful thinking on my part. Four hours to go before Congress convenes. Time for more phone calls.

Posted by: Mary in LA at March 20, 2005 8:09 PM

Its too bad that the mainstream media can't show the bone scan on the news programs. But that would violate the right to privacy (that I didn't know existed in the constitution? which amendment was that?)

She has a history of trauma. The Sheriff refused to take action when she reported his abuse.

I'm still praying for Terri.

I think the general public are all terrorists, trying to control other people's lifes. 99.999999999999% of you never met Terry, never talk to her, never lived with her, or be friends with her. You are all complete strangers. You all get your information second handed from media. Second handed information is not acceptable as credible evidence anywhere in the world.

I think this is the problem with our American society these days. People thinking they are so rightious and is doing the right thing with such little credible information.

Remember how American people felt cheated after they found out that Iraq has no weapon? It's so emberassing. I think we are all going to feel emberassing about this very soon too.

Shame on all the politicians making this thing political for their personal gains. I can't believe any of us would believe that they and the Bush brothers had any geniun feeling for Terry.

And shame on all those people who says "pray for Terry to live." Stop trying to influence God's decision. If you truely blieve in God and is a faithful believer, you won'd pray for either side but pray for "God's Will" to be done.

Posted by: will at March 20, 2005 9:36 PM

If God was going to take her to Heaven, she would have died years ago. She has a will to live!

I have a respect for all human life, especially the vulnerable - more specifically the disabled & the unborn.

Would you deny a cup of water to a person dying of thirst? I know that God would not.

Posted by: Alnot at March 20, 2005 9:45 PM

Are you either saying you are God so that you know what God wants, or that you are mightier then God so that you can tell God to give that cup of water to a person dying of thirst?

I can just imagine that if you were Abraham and God wanted you to sacrifice Issac, you would say "No, that's not God's Will," and decide on your own, claiming that you know God's will.

People these days believe in themselves too much and claims that the know God's Will too much while in fact they are no prophets.

I encourage all believers of God to pray for God's Will to be done instead of a certain desirable outcome they wanted. This applies to Both Sides.
By the same token, if God doesn't want her in heaven, shouldn't she be able to walk and talk and appreciate life instead of relying on other means to be kept alive? If she fainted in a forest, will she still be alive today for this discussion to happen?

I will not get into a discussion of her will because that's too dangerous since no one knows for sure if she still has a will or not.
*start of fact, not opinion*
two doctor brought in by husband says she doen't
two doctor brought in by parents says she does
one doctor, appointed by the court which has no conflict of interest, says no
80% of 15000 doctors polled says Terry will have no hope of regaining conciousness
*end of fact*

Personally, I believe the court's doctor more. And I trust professional opinions. If you don't, then we should stop asking for "independent investigation/consultation" or go to the doctors for help because you don't believe those anyways.

I respect all living life too, but I do not believe that giving the more vulnearable more previlige then others. They do not need your extra care. They are strong individuals, if not stronger then us. The fact that you treat them specially is a spit in their face. The fact that you are giving them extra previligous and cares are saying to them, "I am better then you, so I can give you help."
I believe people are trying to make this into one of their little "make you feel better story" or one of those "Human triumph" story while blinded by the fact that not all life's story are going to end happily ever after. If we have this much energy, we should let the husband and parents go their own course while focus on some other more urgent needs in the society. Stop meddling in someone else's business.

Pedophiles are still roaming our streets.
Thousands of people are still in poverty, living off garbage cans and sleep on side walks.
Thousands of children still go hungry to school every morning.
Our troop is still trapped in Iraq with no ends in sight.

Where are you while these issues are still at hand?

Where are you?

Yes, and we know one simple, cast-iron, unimpeachable FACT: they can always kill her later - they can't resurrect her.

People are faced with these important life decisions everday and you do not see their cases on CNN or headline news. So is everyone who decided not to put feeding tubes or turn off life support, a abuser, terrorist or evil??? You are making judgements based on hear say from the media and internet, how rightous you are. Do you realize Terri would have been dead years ago if they had not placed that tube?? that was NOT gods will, that was a selfish human decision that man made. Let this be a free country where you are allowed to make personal decisions without persecuation.

She had speech therapy and other therapy before her husband abruptly stopped it. She was improving! Her husband stopped it because he's trying to cover something up. Perhaps he's trying to destroy evidence? And then there's the fact he wants her creamted immediately! Her family won't even be allowed to bury her!

Posted by: ElizabethV at March 21, 2005 12:09 AM

What's more, Terri can swallow. One of the nurses fed her Jello, and she ate it without problems. That feeding tube may not be necessary at all. If she doesn't actually need assistance to eat (other than maybe somebody to hold the spoon), then (a) she's not a "vegetable", and (b) she wouldn't have "been dead years ago."

Equal rights for the disabled!

Posted by: Mary in LA at March 21, 2005 12:15 AM

susan and will,
life support can be many things, insulin, kidney dialysis, etc. shall we cut them off as well? what about alzheimers patients? Dr Cranford assisted in the death of such a patient. he also is a national witness for the right to die crowd. And, what about george felos book?
where do you draw the line? your husband beats you into a coma and then says pull the plug? what if?

Posted by: chardonnay at March 21, 2005 12:16 AM
