A hearing has been set for Friday for several motions Terri Schiavo's parents, the Schindlers, have filed before Judge Greer. Unfortunately, Judge Greer has already notified the Schindlers' attorney that he is denying several of the motions without a hearing. Basically, he is denying a hearing on any issues that might save Terri's life and is only considering motions that pertain to the death and burial process.

These are the motions denied, according to the Schindler family web site:

• Updated neurological evaluations based on new MRI testing protocols;
• A motion to compel the deposition of Michael Schiavo;
• A petition for extraordinary authority to provide Terri Schiavo with updated rehabilitative protocols;
• A petition for divorce, citing open adultery on the part of Terri Schiavo’s husband and guardian;
• An objection to the guardian’s annual guardianship plan ;
• A motion to remove Michael Schiavo as guardian, citing his failure to comply with Florida Law mandated guardianship requirements. This motion dates back to November of 2002, but the court has never ruled on it.

The Second District Court of Appeals has expidited the motions before it pertaining to Terri's case so they can be ruled on before the current stay expires on March 18. Among these is a motion for another stay.
