Greer Rejects Petition (again)

Topics: News

Circuit Judge George Greer, the state judge who has presided over the seven-year legal dispute between Schiavo's husband and guardian, Michael, and her parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, rejected a petition that alleged Terri had tried to say that she wanted to live. The Schindlers' appealed to the Florida Supreme Court

Schindler's attorney, David Gibbs, expects that Terri will pass the point that she will be able to recover over this Easter weekend.

Paul O'Donnell, a Roman Catholic Franciscan monk who has cared for the Schindlers, said the family is urging Terri's husband to allow his wife to receive the sacrament of communion at sundown Saturday, when Catholics begin celebrating their holiest feast of the year.

Friends, please pray for Terri and the Schindlers.
