Congresswoman Ginny Brown-Waite Swallows the MSM Distortions 'Hook, Line, and Sinker'

Topics: News

Responding to our email requesting her support for saving Terri Schiavo, Congresswoman Ginny Brown-Waite included the following text, in what was apparently an automatic reply:

"In 1990, Mrs. Shiavo suffered a heart attack that left her severely brain damaged and in a vegetative state. Sadly she has not recovered since this time, and is only being kept alive by a feeding tube. Because Mrs. Shiavo did not express her views in writing about being kept alive in a vegetative state, her intent is open to interpretation. Mrs. Shiavo's parents are adamant that she would want to be kept alive, while her husband has stated that she would have wanted to be allowed to die naturally and be at peace."

What heart attack(no elevated cardiac enzymes), what PVS(sophisticated imaging was never used, no biochemistry studies, no eval. by multidisciplinary rehab team, etc.), and her husband wants her to die naturally(being starved and dehydrated to death is natural?), and how about all those broken bones from her neck to her ankle - her loving husband wants her to be at peace? And what about immediate cremation with no autopsy(court ordered via Greer), doesn't that call for just a few questions? I don't think Ginny Brown-Waite is someone I want representing me or anyone that I love.

This is someone that us folks in Florida have chosen to represent us? What happened to researching the facts instead of spouting the liberal MSM and St Petersburg Times propaganda? It seems that the people of Florida need to hear more from bloggers about which Congresspersons actually represent life and which represent the euthanasia crowd.

If you are elderly, disabled, or ill, God forbid that you have Ginny Brown-Waite "on your side!" Several thousand blogs will be sure to remember her come election time.

What's MSM?

Just curious. Do you know if heart FAILURE brought on by hypokalemia, as opposed to a heart ATTACK by infarction or dysrhtymia, would cause elevated cardiac enzymes?
