You can read the affidavits at the Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation web site. Many of these doctors recommend specific treatments and/or express optimism that her functioning could be improved. Several state an opinion that based on video tapes they have seen, they believe she is not in a persistent vegetative state. More affidavits are expected to be filed next week. My wife and I have cared for our son, Derrick, in our home.for almost 20 years. Derrick is in much the same condition as Terri. The doctors presenting their letters for Terri are agreeing with what we have known for many years.
