Schindlers Hopeful Michael Will Welcome Resolution

Topics: Press Releases

While the family of Terri Schiavo is grateful for the stay issued today by Judge George Greer of Pinellas County Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit, they continue to be hopeful that the court will allow the numerous, outstanding legal issues in Terri’s case to be resolved before any action to end their daughter’s life is taken.

Recent advances in neurological testing may be better suited to determining Terri Schiavo’s true cognizant state and the Schindlers would like them to be made available so that no doubt about their daughter’s condition remains.

The family believes that Michael Schiavo will welcome this new opportunity to resolve unanswered questions about Terri’s neurological state before any further action to remove her food and fluids is carried out.

The Schindler family and their legal team with the Gibbs Law Firm are committed to working with the guardian, his counsel and the courts to ensure that every appropriate measure is taken to ensure that Terri Schiavo’s rights and legal interests are respected.

Though the 2nd District Court of Appeals has issued their mandate to remove Terri’s assisted nutrition and hydration, it is the hope of the Schindler family that Michael Schiavo will allow his wife due process and refrain from further pursuit of her death until the court can review the appropriateness of new neurological testing.

We are suffering with you, I cannot imagine this happening. What a disgrace for Florida. She is a Catholic, as a Catholic we do not even believe in the death penalty, I cannot understand why her religious rights are being violated.
If The estranged husband really loves Terri as he has stated, he would want to make sure Terri will suffer no pain and ask for all test to prove it. He is a me, myself and I person, he will suffer in the end. What goes around comes around.
Life is fragile, this can happen to anyone. In the time of the last couple of years this has happened to alot of someones. Some probably knew about Terri. Your life can change in an instant and if we let our Terri die an ignominious death, watch out! we could be next.
People with misguided compassion are very dangerous. They really believe they have your best interest at heart. think about it, we in America kill 4000 babies a day, yes in America! Euthanasia is on the horizon, Terri is the advocate for the new Roe V Wade. Soon we will kill the handicapped, the elderly and whoever we think should die, out of compassion. The misguided people are not of God. They cannot see because they are not of God. This is compassion the right to life, verses misguided compassion the right to kill, we have got to fight for Terri and keep fighting, This will be a great battle and we have to win!
Terri you are beautiful, you are a living Saint and you are saving souls. God is definitely with you and with your family. Prayer Works, people have put aside their own whoe's and are praying for you. We love you and your wonderful family. Love cancels evil, prayer changes things, we must keep praying and be on the side of life.
Love and Prayers,
Cheryl Thomas
Elliston, Mt.
