I awoke this morning with this letter running through my mind. I was driven to commit it to writing. I now give it to you, whoever you may be, so that you may read it too.

“Dear God. Forgive them for they know not what they do.

I lie here, in my bed, as I have for thirteen years now. I dream of you, I rejoice in you as I know that you have invited me to you. You have opened the door and are patiently waiting for me. I can see the gentle, soul warming light of your invitation, of you, of Life Ever Lasting but it is so far away and I can’t reach it.

I am sorry God but they won’t let me come to you. Forgive them for they know not what they do.

I lie here, in my bed, as I have for thirteen years now, a victim of misplaced love, a victim of misplaced mercy, a victim of misplaced hope and misplaced kindness. They have good intentions but they cannot seem to understand that you are calling for me and I long to come to you.

They say that I have the right to life. With you, I would live. With you I would live for all eternity. Please God, Please. Let them see the light that I see but cannot approach. Touch their souls so that they may know true mercy and true kindness. Please show them that I long to come to you and rejoice in you forever and ever. Please show me patience; please don’t give up on me. Please, Please, Please don’t close the door. It is my only salvation, my only hope. I will come to you as soon as I can.

All my love, Terri

P.S. I pray for those who cannot let me go from their lives. I pray that they see what I see, that you are gentle, loving and kind. I pray that they finally understand that it is safe and good to let me come to your care, your presence. I pray that they are forgiven; I pray that they can join me in your light someday as I miss them too. For my loving parents, for my loving husband, for all my loving family and those who have cared for me all these long and lonely years I pray, in your name, for mercy on their souls and mine.”

Obviously this letter is committed to writing by someone other then Terri Schiavo herself. However I feel deeply and strongly that these would be her words should she be able to write them herself.

It is a sad day in America when a man has taken
the MARRIAGE OATH then commits adultry, lives
with the adultress, who bears his children,
then by LAW is able to murder his wife!
He
gave up his rights! Her parents are the soul
survivors and should be given guardianship of
their daughter.
This is BIGOMY ,which last I heard was against the LAW!

In his marriage
contract did it read TIL DEATH DO US PART or
til YOU BECOME DISABLED THEN I MURDER YOU?

There was no legitimate contract stating her
wishes and courts CANNOT ACCEPT HEARSAY.
Especially when a innocent human beings life
is hanging in the balance.

If Teri dies, there should be an uprising
and over throw of our court systems.
